The Qld Surf Lifesaving services are provided through  a network of volunteer lifesavers, professional lifeguards, operations support, beach management systems and community education activities.  They provide their services from Rainbow Bay on the NSW/Qld border right up to Port Douglas in northern Qld.  Providing aquatic safety and education to the public is their most important aim.

PCYC is a non-government, not for profit (NFP) charitable organisation that works in partnership with the Queensland Police Service, all levels of Government, Businesses, Young People and the Community to provide affordable and accessible programs and activities for young people, families and adults.   PCYC also provides Crime Prevention Programs in local communities as they work hand in hand with the Queensland Police Service to keep young people out of trouble.
